She married Harold R. Anderson on March 19, 1939 in Denver, and they farmed in rural Loveland. She lived in Weld and Larimer counties all of her life and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Mary loved her Lord and was a charter member of Peace with Christ Lutheran Church in Fort Collins. Her family, friends and all of God's creations were her greatest joy in life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, five brothers, Jacob Jr., Henry, George, Alex and Herman; three sisters, Mary I, Lydia I, Frieda Helzer; and granddaughter, Wendy Jo.
Survivors include two children; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
