Ickesburg, Aug. 30. -- Lorenza Dowl (sic) Bucher, 68, died early Sunday morning at his home near Ickesburg. He was the son of George and Eleanor Marshall Fry Bucher and was born near Donnally Mills.
Surviving besides his wife, Mrs. Carrie Titzel Bucher, are two brothers, Abraham Bucher and Joseph Bucher, Clover, Iowa; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Noye and Mrs. Charles Miller, Harrisburg; Miss Martha Bucher, Newport; one son, Gerald C. Bucher, Newport He was a member of the Ickesburg Lutheran Church.
The Rev. J. M. Scharf, pastor of the Ickesburg Lutheran Church, had charge of the funeral services Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock at the Bucher home, Elliottsburg, R. D. Burial was made in the Newport cemetery.
