Northwest Highway, Palatine, IL, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Barrington. Born Nov. 14, 1946, in Columbus, Wis., he died May 2, 2012. Walter was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was the beloved husband of Linda S. (nee Green) Hrobsky for 27 years; loving father of Emily, Daniel and Olivia Hrobsky; and dear brother of Florence (the late Donald) Salomaki, Harold (Geri VanHout) Hrobsky and Donald (Toni) Hrobsky. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, John A. and Rosemary (nee Wanalista) Hrobsky.
