He was a retired employee of the Frank House Motor Co. and a member of the Port Royal Lutheran Church, the Association of Notaries, the Friendship Fire Co. and the original Boy Scout Troop 1 of Lewistown.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vada Goodman Bailor; a son, Donald E. of Newton Hamilton; a sister Mrs. Viola Cree of Newport; a brother George M. of West Fairview; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home on Market Street. The Rev. Dr. Paul W. DeLauter, pastor of the Messiah Lutheran Church of Mifflintown will officiate. Burial was in the Old Church Hill Cemetery. Friends called Saturday evening at the funeral home.
