Ai Ramage, 72, died Sunday morning at his residence, on Bloomington R. 4, after an illness of several years. He had formerly worked at the Clear Creek Cemetery and at the Clear Creek school.
Survivors include his wife, Goldie Ramage, a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Bell, 1124 W. Kirkwood; two sons, Russell Ramage, 924 N. Fairview and Paul Ramage, Roher Road; a brother Robert Ramage, Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Flora Largey, Chariton, Iowa; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Clear Creek Christian Church, where Mr. Ramage had been a member for more than 42 years. Rev. Russell Kilmer will officiate and burial will be in the Clear Creek cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Irvin and Ollie Jackson, Edward and Charles Kerr, James Ramage and Clarence Reinhardt.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Moat, Turner Thrasher, Ralph Deckard, Lestie Stewart, James Mitchell, Ollie Stewart, Frank Lantz, William Wampler, Eugene Stansifer and Wiley Sare.
Wives of the honorary pallbearers will serve as flower bearers.
The body has been taken from the Day Funeral Home to the residence on R. 4, where it will remain until time for the funeral services.
