Preceded in death by first husband, Howard Bumford in 1952; second husband, Max Williams, in 1973; son, Russell, in 1944; brother, Robert; and sister, Rose. Survived by son, Col. George R. Bumford, Roanoke, TX, and daughters, Mrs. Marian Mulvihill, Placentia, CA, and Mrs. Agnes Jean Eakins, Mentor, Ohio; also 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Sister of Gerald Bortel, Erie; John W. Bortel, Ethel Wirick, Mahala Wissinger and Jean Bunton, all of South Fork; and Ruth Cummins, Youngstown, OH. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Homer J. George Funeral Home, South Fork, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. G. K. Tulloch.
