By 1918 he was employed at All Steel Equipment Company, Aurora, Ill., where he entered service June 24, 1918. Sent to Camp Grant, Ill.; assigned to First Aid Corps, 36 Medical Detachment.
Operated on for brain tumor, contracted influenza, and died January 8, 1919, Camp Grant, IL.
