"The LaFayette Sun" - January 13, 1915:

In Memoriam.

Mrs. J. F. Weaver was born May 20th, 1859, was married to John E. Weaver Jan. 7th, 1877, and died Nov. 24th, 1914 (sic). She leaves a husband and six children and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her sad departure.
In the loss of this good woman the family has sustained an irreparable loss. Her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ was evident in every detail of her daily existence. She delighted to honor His name and did all in her power to lead her children in Him. she has entered upon the rest of god and leaves behind her as a precious heritage to her loved ones, the savor of a consistent life made strong in the faith that she cherished and in the hope that shed brightness along the way. She was an affectionate wife and mother, a good neighbor. Her life was full of sunshine and cheerfulness and she met death with a firm faith, a bright hope and a sure victory.
It is hard to realize her absence but we grieve not as those who have no hope. We know she is safe with Him, "Who doeth all things well."
Safe in the arms of Jesus.
