He was born Aug. 13, 1929, in the Town of Wilson, Dunn County, to Arthur and Nettie (Eide) Anderson. He was raised on a farm in the Town of Wilson, confirmed from Hay River Lutheran Church, and graduated from Colfax High School in 1947. On July 13, 1949 he was married to Arlene Weaver at Sand Creek. Anderson lived and farmed in the Town of Wilson all his life. He served on the Colfax District School Board for 13 years, and also the C.E.S.A. board. Anderson was also a longtime member of the Hay River Lutheran Church, the church council and cemetery board.
Anderson is survived by his wife, three sons; Gary, Carlsbad, California; Brian, Wheeler and David, Chetek; three daughters; Constance Dicks, Colfax, Rita Koch, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and Judith Albricht, Colfax; a sister, Arlene Dietsche, of Bloomer and eleven grandchildren.
Funeral services for Anderson were Dec. 30, from the Hay River Lutheran Church in the Town of Hay River, with the Rev. John Waak officiating. Burial was in the Hay River Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Miler-Rausch Funeral Services, Dallas.
