Wendell Wilson, 80, died Tuesday, August 29, 2006. He was born March 1, 1926, to James O. and Florence Viola (Fricker) Wilson in Sterling, Kansas. Mr. Wilson was employed by KNCK Radio for 30 years before his retirement in 1989.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie; his parents and a brother. Survivors include three daughters, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren as well as two brothers.
Funeral services were held at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Concordia. Burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with military graveside honors by VFW Post 588 and American Legion Post 76. Memorials to American Cancer Society or St. Ann's Guild in care of the church.
