Larry Gale Johnson passed away Wednesday morning, June 20, 2012, at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Sherman.
He was born in Stamford on June 17, 1941, the son of Donnie Gale Johnson and Claudie Mae (Davis) Johnson.
He married Billie M. Prickett at Stamford on Aug. 19, 1960. She survives.
Mr. Johnson was a mechanic. He was a member of Assembly of God Church.
Other survivors include two sons, Ricky Johnson of Houston and Gerald Dee Johnson of Anna; one daughter, Lynnetta Gail Mann and husband, Bobby, of Temple; seven grandchildren, Michael Johnson, Nicholas Johnson, Jeremy Askew, Ashley Askew, Cassie Askew, Brian Johnson and Alyssa Johnson; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Donald Lee Johnson: and one sister, Edna Earl Johnson.
