She was preceded in death by her parents; two children Richard Martin Davis (1946–1946) and Rita Mae Davis (1946–1946); brothers Elmer Charles Johns (1899–1940), Albert W Johns (1904–1973), Russel Arthur Johns (1907–1970), Nelson Louis Johns (1912–1985), Linus Franklin Johns (1914–1977); and sister Margaret Maxine John (1920–1985).
