A viewing will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012 from 9:00-10:45 a. m. and the service will be at 11:00 a. m. at the Nyssa Oregon Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Burial will follow at the Hilltop Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Lienkaemper Chapel.
Mary Cathrine Hill Mann was born on April 22, 1919 at South Weber, Utah, the daughter of George William and Ramona Adams Whitesides Hill. She married the love of her life, Charles Cook Mann, on May 21, 1938.
Mary was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings, including the Boise LDS Temple for over 20 years. She and her wonderful friend, Barbara Burningham, were dedicated visiting teaching partners for 55 years.
Mary never let anyone leave her home hungry. She will always be remembered for her wonderful cooking, and for being such a loving and nurturing mother and grandmother, and for her love and devotion to her husband.
Mary is survived by her four children: C. Kent Mann (Gloria), Steven H. Mann (Susan), Marilyn Brooks and Cheri Mitchell (Wayne); 17 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother and sister.
