"MORRIS - Mrs. George T. Harris, 100 years old, died December 25 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Light, where she had resided for 22 years. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p. m. Sunday in Morris with the Rev. Wilford Lyon of Morris Methodist church officiating. Burial was in Hillington Cemetery. Mrs. Harris was born March 11, 1853 in the Town of Pittsfield, the daughter of Daniel and Sally Chase. She married George T. Harris January 27, 1895 in Morris. Mr. Harris, a farmer, died several years ago. She had lived her entire married life in Morris and Filer's Corners and was the oldest member of the Methodist church.
