Steger Place was sold to Mary "Mollie" Pace in 1912. It became known as Pace-Steger Place and remains today. In 2002 Robert Septimus Pace, Jr. granted the entire property, including the Pace Museum, to the Alumni Association of the University of Virginia.
The Pace Family has very limited access (by UVA Alumni Association) to the family history information preserved by Mr. Pace in the Pace Museum prior to the grant.
