Madeline "Maggie" Louise Neisser Stastny went to be withher Lord on June 15, 2012 at the age of 80. Maggie was born on December 20, 1931 in Victoria County to the late Henry and Sophie Ulrich Neisser.
Maggie was a devoted wife, and loving mother and grandmother. She loved to bake for her family and friends and was well known for her delicious kolaches. She also enjoyed working in her garden and under her green thumb the flowers and plants bloomed year round.
Maggie is survived by her sons, James R. Stastny, Jr. and wife Debbie of Victoria, Richard Stastny of Victoria, Larry Stastny of Victoria, Michael Stastny and wife Jennifer of Victoria: grandaughters, Aschleigh and Alissa Stastny; grandson, Ian Stastny and four great grandchildren, all of Victoria; sisters, Bessie Repka of Inez, Mabel Lemke of Victoria, Ellie Jacobs of Round Rock; brothers, Clarence Neisser of Westlake, La. and Victor Neisser of DaCosta.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, James Robert Stastny, Sr. and brother Adolph Neisser.
Visitation services will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2012 at Grace Funeral Home with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19,2012 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Bloomington with Father Samuel Appiasi officating. Burial will be in Shillerville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ian Stastny, Roy Rohan, Craig Repka, Gary Parencia, Darrell Swoboda and Dennis Lala.
In Lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to donor's choice in her name.
