ALPHONSE (AL) ADAM
CONCORDIA - The funeral for Alphonse (Al) Adam, 87, Concordia, retired farmer-stockman, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, Concordia, the Rev. Loren Werth officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Aurora.
Mr. Adam, a lifetime Cloud County resident, died Wednesday in the Park Villa rest home, Clyde. He was born Oct. 5, 1888 at Aurora. He retired from his Miltonvale area farm in 1947 and moved to Concordia. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
The Rosary will be at 7 pm Friday at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia.
Surviving are 4 daughters, Mrs. Arlene Hamill, Aurora, Colo.; Mrs. Alexine Grimm, Concordia; Mrs. Orelia Rodgers, Redondo Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Mildred Bernard, Costa Mesa, Calif.; 3 sons, Glen, Laguna Beach, Calif.; Bernard, Concordia, and Philip, Tampa, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Ella Chilcott, Wichita; 2 brothers, Acton, Concordia, and Alpha, Wichita; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
