Edna was born March 24, 1919, in Nortonville, the daughter of Henry and Minnie Mae Bagby Bonnell. She attended school in Nortonville, graduating from high school there.
She and Raymond G. Voelker were united in marriage in December 1937 in Atchison. Her husband Raymond G. Voelker preceded her in death on Aug. 24, 1980 and her son Larry L. Voelker preceded her in 2009.
Edna was a member of the Methodist faith.
