Married June 23, 1864, to Martha Shorts Witherup to which union were born four children, Francis A. of Butler, Robert and Homer of Eau Clair and Cora, wife of Allen Jacobs of Cyrus... Services at M.E. church at Eau Clair of which church his son, Homer is pastor. Interment in Clintonville cemetery.
