M. C. "Teeter" Woods, 86, formerly of 113 Church Avenue, widower of Clara McMahan Woods, passed away on Friday, June 01, 2012 at NHC of Clinton.
Born in Georgia, he was the son of the late Clarence and Mollie Rachels Woods. Teeter was a U. S. Army veteran of WWII and retired from Greenwood Mills- Durst Plant where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club. Following his retirement he worked with Harley Funeral Home and Quality Chrysler. He was a member of Harris Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Jean (Ricky) Davis of Greenwood and Jo Ann (Jimmy) Blackwell of Laurens; a son, Robert "Bobby" (Pat) Woods of Greenwood; five grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
