Polly Andrews was born in Cherry Valley, Ohio, Nov. 13, 1843, and died Sunday evening, Dec. 20, 1914, aged 71 years. She came to Wisconsin with her parents, Anson and Lucy Andrews, when she was one year old; since which time she has lived in what is now Wayne Township, with the exception of three or four years during her early childhood when she lived near Winslow, Ill.
She was one of a family of twelve, only one of which, Philo of South Wayne, is now living. On Oct. 13, 1866, she was married to Seymour S. Webster and to this union were given five children, Mrs. Frank Schliem of Warner, Canada, Mrs. Thos. J. Barmore of Monroe, Wis., Mrs. S.C. Parsons of Martintown, Wis., and two sons, Francis A. of Chicago and Laverne A. of Canton, Ohio, all of whom, with the husband are left to mourn her departure.
She united with the Free Baptist Church when but a girl and was a true and consistent member until the last, and her family life and most devoted and faithful wife and mother.
The funeral services were held at South Wayne, Dec. 23, 1914, conducted by Rev A.O. Protsman, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Darlington.
