One of the first members of the Wells County Selective
Service Board, J. Earl Alberson, 78, died at 2:40 am Tuesday
in Clinic Hospital, Bluffton. He also had served as a member
of the welfare and tax review boards.
The wife, formerly Deuaner Evans; four sons, three
daughters, 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren
survive.
Calling at the Thoma Funeral Home, Bluffton, until noon
Thursday, then at the Phoenix United Methodist Church prior
to 1:30 pm services.
Masonic services at 7:30 pm Wednesday.
