Donald F. Diederich, 70, of Huntington, W.Va., died Friday.

The former Garrett resident was a retiree of CSX Railroad and veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Esther Marie, a son, a sister, a brother and two grandchildren.

Graveside services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Christian Union Cemetery. Calling is 2 to 9 p.m. tomorrow in McKee-Miles Funeral Home.
