Florence Edna Bair, 88, of Ruffsdale, passed away Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born April 15, 1920, in Tarrs, a daughter of the late Harry B. and Ada Reese Hixson. Florence is survived by her children, Santafay Bills, of Ruffsdale, and Ronald Bair and his wife, Judy, of Hunker; grandchildren, Lila Jean Wildey and her husband Mike, David Bair and his wife Jodi, Rhonda Vidrio and her husband Jose, Dan Bair and his wife Betty, Tony Culp and his wife Missy, and Mike Culp; great-grandchildren, Morgan and Scott Wildey, Benjamin, Brittany, Michael and Aaron Bair, Elura and Aurelia Vidrio and Tanner; and sisters, Sarah Gross, of Carpentertown, and Dollie Kurth, of Ruffsdale. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George H. Bair; a baby sister, Myrtle Hixson; sister, Helen Bowman; brother, Lloyd Hixson; and son-in-law, John Bills. Her favorite pastime was her crocheting and crafts. Florence's family is inviting friends from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday to the SALOOM FUNERAL SERVICE INC., 730 W. Main St., Mt.
