Mrs. Mullis retired from teaching Home Economics at Treutlen High School after 30 years. She also served as County Extension Agent working with 4-H and was a member of First Baptist Church, Soperton for many years.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Al James of Wake Forest and grandchildren Emily and her husband Will Ivey of St. Mary's, Angie and her husband Adam Hackle of Soperton and Elizabeth and Christopher James of Wake Forest.
The funeral is Tuesday morning at ten o'clock in the chapel of Sammons Funeral Home in Soperton with burial in Westview Cemetery in Soperton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from six till eight p.m.
