She was the daughter of George Henry Southam and Isabel Herbert. She married William Francis Morton on 29th of November 1922 in Vernal.
Those in Vernal that survive her are: William F. Morton Jr. and W. Woody Morton, sons, all of Vernal; four brothers, Ralph, Clair, Grant and Niles Southam, all of Vernal. Sisters, Elizabeth Collier and Merle Wilkins, Vernal.
