FORDS - Funeral services are being held today for Mrs. Christine C. Burkeson, 27 Second Street, who died at the Roosevelt Hospital Sunday. Vicar Edward Bergen officiated at the services held in Our Reedecmer Church and burial took place in Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy.
Born in Perth Amboy, she lived in Fords for the past 30 years. She was an active member of the Fords Woman's Club for 40 years, and a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
She was the widow of Sidney Burkeson and is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Grace Duel of Fords; two sisters, Mrs. Willard Dunham, Edison and Mrs. Edward Drake of Fords; one grand child and one great grandchild.
