Charles W. Mason, Lewisville, Dies Unexpectedly

Charles W. Mason, age 71, well-known resident of Lewisville and a retired employee of Ingersoll Steel Division, died this morning in the Henry County Hospital. He suffered a cerebral hemorrhage at 1:00 a.m. this morning and died shortly after being admitted to the hospital.
Charles was born and reared in the Bentonville community and was employed at the mill here for 20 years.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Gertrude Mason; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Weaver of Bentonville; two step-sons: Howard Vanderbeck of Park Place in New Castle and Hoyt Vanderbeck of near Bentonville; and a grandson, James Alfred Banderbeck.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3:00 p.m. in the Bentonville Christian Church. Burial will be in the Bentonville Cemetery. Friends may call at the Helms Funeral Home in Lewisville after noon Wednesday.
Charles was a member of the Lewisville Friends Church and the Lions Club.
