Died at 1:25 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his residence, 84 Ninth street, Cresson. He recently moved to Cresson from Camden, N.J. He was born Aug. 18, 1886, in Allegheny township, Cambria county, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Mathias Hoffman. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Francis Hoffman, three sons and two daughters: Edward and Howard of the air force, Robert of Sharon, Mrs. Lawrence Russell of Camden, N.J., and Mrs. Warren Seymour of Farrell; six grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Stephen McConnell of Hastings, R.D. Mr. Hoffman was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic church. Friends are being received at the home.
