He was born on February 27, 1947 in Jefferson County.
Herbert worked for Trotter Ford for over 25 years and was a member of the Assembly of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henderson Fay Holland and Maude Curbow-Holland; and one brother, Virgil Lee Holland.
Herbert is survived by his wife, Sandra Arnett of Rison; two sons, Allen Holland, Jr. of Carthage and Tracy Nutt of Batesville; one daughter, Audra Thrower of Pine Bluff; nine grandchildren; five brothers: Chester Holland of Sherill, Gene Holland of Rison, Hayes Holland of Pine Bluff, Roger Holland of Pine Bluff, Charles "Bud" Holland of Pine Bluff, and William Holland of Herrington, KS; and five sisters: Mary Hart of Pine Bluff, Wanda Mosley of White Hall, Judy Hale of Pine Bluff, Gail Paul of Batesville, and Clara Rainey of Rison.
The funeral services will be held in Hale-South Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Toney officating. The burial services will be held at Graceland Cemetery.
