Laguan CARROLL, 72, died Sunday, March 16, 2003, at Windcrest Alzheimer's Care Center in Abilene, Texas.

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, 5701 Hwy 277 South, with Minister Rocky MONCUS officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park.

Laguan was born to Frank and Maggie BRYSON ADIAN on October 30, 1930, in Talpa, Texas. She moved to Abilene from George West, Texas in 1963. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She was predeceased by her parents, and her husband, Chester CARROLL (d. 1988).

Laguan is survived by three sons and spouses, Chester and Janet CARROLL and Craig and Tamme CARROLL of Abilene, and Wendell and Karen CARROLL of Lubbock; and nine daughters and spouses, Sharon PEHL, Faye and Kenneth BARBIAN, Susan and Bruce NEIL, Norma and Mike PETRENCIK, and Janet and James HOTCHKISS all of Abilene, Jennifer and Doug COX of Hearne, TX, Ann and Rickey McCARTY of Hawley, Missy and Robert WILLEN of Albany, and Barbara and Rocky MONCUS of Marble Falls, TX. Survivors also include four brothers, Norman ADIAN, George ADIAN, James Lloyd ADIAN, and Wayland ADIAN; three sisters, Maude CLARK, Betty STARR, and Nell REDDING; 24 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
