Mrs Charles King.

Henrietta, wife of Chas. L. King,
died at her home in Wyanett, on
Friday morning, February 11, at 4
o'clock, aged 43 years. For a year
and a half she had suffered intensely,
but had borne her pain with re-
markable fortitude. A year ago last
December she was operated upon at
the Pillsbury hospital, Minneapolis,
and at that time the surgeons gave no
hope of her recovery. Her vitality
was gradually sapped by the virulent
disease and the end came in peaceful
sleep—all suffering had ceased before
she passed away.

Funeral services were conducted at
the family residence on Sunday after-
noon at 1 o'clock by Rev. I. N.
Goodell of the Princeton Methodist
church and the interment was In Oak
Knoll cemetery. There were many beautiful
floral tributes and the funeral
was largely attended. At the
house several impressive selections
were rendered by a quartet consisting
of Mrs. P. L. Roadstrom, Miss Switzer,
Guy Ewing and Arthur Roos, who were
accompanied by Miss Verne Townsend
on the organ. The pallbearers were
J. J. Skahen, Fred Keith, Clifton Cravens,
Dr. McRae, Oscar Stark and Don Sausser.

Mrs. King, whose maiden name was
Henrietta Anderson, was born in
Princeton township on January 9,
1867, and was married to Charles L.
King on September 13, 1885. With the
exception of a year or so in Prince-
ton, she lived on a farm in Wyanett
with her husband from that time until
called by death. Besides a husband
she is survived by three daughters
and one son, viz., Mrs. O. B. More-
house, Minneapolis; Susan, Lydia
and Earl, who range in age from 6 to
12 years and live at home. She also
leaves a father, Chas. Anderson, who
resides with Mrs. Alice Townsend;
two brothers, Robert Anderson of
Phoenix, Arizona, and John of
Princeton, and four sisters, Mrs. V.
D. Crandall, Robbinsdale, Minn.;
Mrs. Oswald King, Princeton; Mrs.
Alice Townsend and Mrs. Alfonso
Howard, Princeton.

Relatives who attended the funeral
from a distance were Mrs. V. D.
Crandall and Mrs. Clyde King, Robbinsdale;
Mrs. Bert Young, Minneapolis;
Mr. and Mrs. O. B. Morehouse, Minneapolis,
and Mrs. Eileen Woodworth, Anoka.

Mrs. King was a lady possessing a
most kindly disposition and hence
endeared herself to all who became
acquainted with her. She was an
affectionate wife, a loving mother,
and a true christian who feared not
death. Her memory will be long
revered by the many who knew her.
