Lovina Poerson, passed away Monday, May 7th, at Avera St. Anthony's Hospital in O'Neill, NE. Lovina was born May 5, 1927 at Glenvil, Ne, to Henry and Grace Marie (Lindeman) Kloppenborg.
Lovina survivors are: sons, Lee Pierson and wife Nancy of Sinclair, WY., Don Pierson of Mesa, AZ. and Ken Pierson and wife Lou of Lincoln, NE. 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, sister: Ruby Wayman of O'Neill, Ne.; brothers: Ervin Kloppenborg of Cozad, NE.Al Kloppenborg and Don Kloppenborg, both of Emmet, NE..
Lovina graduated from O'Neill High School in 1945 and attended Wayne State Teachers College. Lovina married George Pierson, Aug. 27, 1947. She was a respiratory therapist in the Carbon County Hospital in Rawlins, WY. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary.
Lovina was preceded in death by: parents, Henry and Grace Marie (Lindeman) Kloppenborg; husband, George Pierson in 2006 and brother, Ernie Kloppenborg.
Inurnment was in Rawlins Wyoming.
