Robert J. Anstett, 67, of Wolcott, passed away Saturday, June 22, 1996, at 10:45 p.m., at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette.
He was born Jan. 15, 1929 at Midlothian, Illinois. He was a 1947 graduate of Remington High School.
He was married September 14, 1965, to Mary Ann Krones at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Gilman, Ill. She survives.
He was a Staff Sargent in the U.S. Air Force in the Korean War. He owned and operated the homestead Bar and Restaurant in Remington for 21 years.
He worked at Purdue Union Building as a clerk and cashier at the Bowling Lanes, and was an insurance salesman for many years. He belonged to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Remington, and to the Catholic Order of Foresters.
He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Mark (Marie) Andrezejewski, of Granger, Ind., Mrs. Christopher (Kathleen) Biggs, of Monticello, and Linda Anstett of Lafayette, three brothers, George Anstett and John Anstett, both of Elgin, Ill., and Frank Anstett, of Port Angeles, Wash.; three sisters, Shirley Clark, of Fairfield, Ill, Ruth Lamie, of Brookston, and Margaret Hall, of Derby, Ind.
Visitation will be one prior to the Funeral Mass, which will be June 25, 1996, at 2 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Remington. Father Thomas Fox will officiate. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery at Remington.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or charity of one's choice.
