Individual marker for Helene Schwanke is located in the 4th row from the east, between the Schwanke family marker and her son's Fritz's individual marker.

The family monument for the Schwanke plot. It is located in the 4th row from the east. Besides the family name, a biblical verse, Revelations 14:13 in German, is inscribed on the west face. Helene's individual marker is located just south of this monument.

HELENE RETKE SCHWANKE AND WM SCHWANKE FARM

Fritz "Fred", ?, William Friedrich, Louise, Caroline "Lena", and Helene Retke Schwanke on the farm that they owned in 1912 in Maple Creek, Nebraska.

The Schwanke family had built the house and the buildings on the property. Though it was a two-story house, it actually felt quite small once you entered it.
It could only just meet the needs of a family of six.
