Mrs. Hannah Reed Creager, aged 78, widow of David L. Creager, died at 2 o'clock Sunday morning at her
home in Mont Alto. She had been in ill health for the last ten years,nand during the night suffered a
heart attack and died very suddenly.
Born at Catoctin Furnace, the daughter of James and Sarah Jane (Monn) Reed, she lived at Mont Alto for sixty years. Her husband died 42 years ago. She was a member of the United Brethren Church, Mont Alto.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Abram Creager, Mont Alto; Mrs. Velya Addlesberger, at
home; Mrs. Walter Blubaugh, Mont Alto; Mrs. Elwood Slater, South Mountain; John and George, Mont Alto; and eleven grandchildren, four of whom are grandsons serving in the armed forces, three of them overseas; four great-grandchilqdren; and three sisters, Mrs. Edward Finny, Waynesboro, Mrs. Mida Bush, Fayetteville; an d Mrs. William Bumbaugh; Pond Bank.
Funeral services will be hold Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home, with services in the U. B. Church, Mont Alto, at 2:30, in charge of the Rev. G I. Green and the Rev. J W. Yohe. Burial wlll be made at Mount Zion Cemetery, Quincy.
