Age 88 of Lockport since 1955, passed away on Monday, June 11th, 2012 at Provena Mercy Medical Center in Aurora.
Robert is survived by his loving family, children, Barbara (David) Moulthrop, Robert Baxter, Jr., Scott (Natalie) Baxter, grandchildren, Jill (Aaron) Ketchum, Rebecca (Sanford) Busse, David Moulthrop, Elizabeth Moulthrop, Adam (Stefani) Baxter, Kellie Baxter, Kristopher Baxter, Seth Baxter, Lexi Baxter, Rye Baxter, great grandchildren, Ethan Busse and Lucas Busse.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Jeanne Baxter (Billings) and brother, Eugene Baxter.
Robert was a proud United States Army Veteran and a longtime member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Lockport.
Family will receive friends at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 700 E. 9th Street, Lockport, IL 60441on Friday, June 15th, 2012 from 9:00 AM until time of funeral service at 10:00 AM.
