ROCHESTER - Lewis O. Hodgdon, 50, of 20 Woodman street, died Thursday, March 9, at Frisble Memorial Hospital. Born in Berlin, he lived here for 46 years and was a Wyandotte Worsted Co. employee. He was a 25-year member of the Rochester Lodge of Elks. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Barbara (Canney) Hodgdon; a daughter, Miss Rochelle Hodgdon; his mother, Mrs. Ida Hodgdon, all of Rochester; four brothers, Chauncey Hodgdon, Clayton Hodgdon and Leon Hodgdon, all of Rochester, and Richard Hodgdon, USAF; a sister, Mrs. Theresa Jacques, of Rochester; nieces and nephews. Services were conducted Saturday afternoon at the Edgerly Funeral Home chapel by Rev. Newell Curtis, Jr., pastor of First Church Congregational. Burial will be in Rochester Cemetery.
