Dominic Becchelli (86) of Phoenix, Arizona, formerly of South Bend, died at II am. Wednesday in Phoenix after an extended illness. He was retired from Uniroyal. He was born May 21, 1895, in Italy and lived the last 18 years in Phoenix after retiring in 1964. On Jan 3, 1921. in Illinois; he married Christine Michele, who died in 1966. In August 1970, he married Clementine Flora, who survives. Other survivors are a daughter. Mrs. Mary June Benbow of Alaska; two sons. Tony and Mike, both of South Bend; 12 grandchildren; 22 great .grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Chapel services will be 10 am. Monday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, with Rev. Ervin Kuspa, deacon of St. Adalbert's Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm Saturday and 2 to-9 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home, where a parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm. Sunday
