Bobbie Jean Morris, daughter of the late Virgil and Lula Jane (Applegate) Stiles, was born July 21, 1936 in Tobinsport, Indiana. She graduated from Bosse High School in Evansville, Indiana. Bobbie continued her education and graduated from College with a Business Degree.

In 1984, Bobbie moved to the Pulaski County area and married George Creighton Morris. They were united in marriage on December 28, 1985 in Devils Elbow, Missouri. They shared over 28 years of marriage together.

Bobbie was a hardworking woman and dedicated her life to helping many people. She is currently the Executive Director of the Pulaski County Group Home in Crocker, Missouri and has been for 25 years. She loved helping those that were challenged and considered all the residents as her family. She gave them a home where they were safe and knew they were loved. She was a kind and compassionate person helping everyone she could. She didn't know a stranger.

Bobbie cherished her children and they were the most important thing in her life. She has passed her kind and giving traits on to her daughters who will continue her legacy. Her daughters adore her and spent every moment they could with her.

In her spare time, Bobbie loved going on cruises with her daughters. She enjoyed cooking, reading, spending time with family and friends and was a history buff. She was an avid supporter of the Special Olympics. Many will remember her for her kind giving heart. She touched everyone she met. She also had an incredible sense of humor and always left everyone with a smile on their face. Bobbie was a lifetime member of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary since 1989.

Bobbie passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012 in her home having attained the age of 75 years. She will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Bobbie leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, George, of the home; four children: Susan Denning (Terry) of Devil's Elbow, MO, Cristi Denning of Evansville, IL, Sheryl Schaefer (Kevin) of St. Meinrad, IN and Lauralee Baldwin (Joe) of Lexington, KY; eleven grandchildren: James Patrick Denning, Michael Steven Denning, Crystal Ruiz, Ricky Denning, Joseph Baldwin, Sean Schaefer, Sierra Sky Baldwin, Blake Schaefer, Timmy Denning, Ricky Call and LuAnn Morris; two great-grandchildren: Christopher and Alexandria Denning; her brother, Bud Gude of Atlanta, GA; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by her sons: Michael and Ricky Denning and five siblings: Margie, Kenny, Vicky, Shirley and Lambert.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 until time of service at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2012 in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert.

Memorial gathering will be held from 3:00 – 8:00 Friday, June 15, 2012 in Tell City, Indiana and a graveside service on Saturday, June 16, 2012 in the Birdseye Cemetery of Birdseye, Indiana.
