Clem Bitler Dead
Clem Bitler, 206 Merchant. died early this morning in St. Mary's hospital. No funeral arrangements have been announced.
He was born in Olpe March 5, 1881, and lived in and around Emporia most of his life. He attended the Emporia city schools. One sister, Mrs. Blanche McCord, Kansas City, Mo., survives. He was preceded in death by his parents and by five brothers and sisters.

Bitler Rites Tuesday
Funeral services for Clem Bitler, who died Saturday morning, will be held Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock in the McVey chapel. The Rev. H. Hilton Longberry will be in charge, and burial will be in Maplewood cemetery.
