She was the twin daughter of James Musil and Mary (Langmeyer) Musil. She married her first husband, Edward Carl Newman September 25, 1920 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. They divorced on October 15, 1926 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. She then married Homer Kendrick on June 16, 1928 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. They divorced sometime after 1942. Her third husband was Welty Widner Bucy. He survived her.
