Mrs. Hamlett is survived by three sons, Kenneth M. Hamlett and wife, Cindy of Danville, Victor L. Hamlett of Danville, Gerald L. Hamlett of West Fork, two daughters, Virginia Ann Ward and husband, Mike of Providence, N.C., Carolyn H. DeBaere and husband, Raymond of Danville. Five brothers, Charlie D. Finney of Burlington, N.C., William Rufus Finney and wife, Virginia of Eden, N.C., Richard "Pete" Finney and wife, Mavis of Danville, Monroe "Joe" Finney and wife, Charmaine of Danville, David Cecil Finney and wife, Judy of Danville. Three sisters, Lillie Ann Dorsett and husband, Garland of Lanham, Md., Irene Hamlett and Mary Sue Garrett both of Danville, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She leaves behind a special friend, James Moore of Danville and a special nurse, Andrea Gunn of Danville.
She was predeceased by three grandchildren, Patricia Odum, Susie Odum and Gerald Hamlett. Also, predeceased by one brother, James Edward Finney.
