Born May 27, 1908, in Quincy, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Calvin S. and Elizabeth Monn Rock.
She attended Quincy Schools.
She worked at Mont Alto Shirt Factory and Mont Alto Shoe Factory.
She was a member of Blue Rock United Brethren in Christ Church, where she belonged to Willing Workers Sunday School Class.
She was a former member of Women of the Moose Lodge 1191, Waynesboro, where she went through all chairs.
She is survived by her husband, Robert R. Newcomer, whom she married Dec. 24, 1928; and two sons, Donald R. Newcomer and Ardon L. Newcomer, both of Waynesboro.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ardon "Ted" Rock.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. Pastor Jaye M. Bartle will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, near Quincy.
