Death cert. gives place of her birth as Lacygne, KS. I did not find any county for that. Female, white, widowed. Frank Teed husband, informant Elmer Wallis, Tulsa, OK. Parents George and Mary [Conley] Grisham.

I have listed a Della [Grisham] Teed with the same parents on Eastlawn Funeral Home. This is most likely her sister.

Their suggestion:
-----------------
Cora L. Grisham was listed as age 7 in the 1875 Linn County, Kansas state census. Cora L. was listed as age 11 in the 1880 Lincoln, Linn, Kansas census with parents C. C. & Mary C. Grisham and 5 younger sisters.

Death certificates often contain mistakes.
La Cygne is a small town in Linn County, Kansas, on the Marais des Cygnes River. (French for "the swan," as there were once wild swans on the Marais des Cygnes River, or "marsh of the swans.)

My note, yes death certificates contains errors, as well as census records, marriage license, monuments, etc. If it was made by man as a written record it can and will have errors.
