The date of Rhoda's death, and where she is buried is not confirmed. It is speculated that Rhoda moved to Georgia and lived with her daughter, Sarah Beckwith Floyd, the widow of Thomas Penuel Floyd (1765 - 1815).
** some of the descendants of Amos and Rhoda left North Carolina for South Carolina, Georgia and points west. Many went to Texas.
