Myrle Allen, 82 of Magnolia, Arkansas died November 16, 2007 at Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, Texas. She was born December 3, 1924 in Homer, Louisiana to the late Hamp and Ora (Booth) Crisp. She was a homemaker, a graduated of Village High School, and a member of Central Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, H.J. Crisp and Hamilton Crisp and sister, Maxine Ainsworth. Survivors are sons, Jimmy Don Allen and wife Linda of Brazoria, Texas, Robert Dean Allen and wife Cathy of Magnolia, Arkansas; daughter, Lesa Alberius of Star City, Arkansas; sister, Harlene Harbour of Bossier City, Louisiana; grandsons, Joshua Allen, Nathan Allen, Wesley Allen, Daniel Allen, and Jonathon Bradley; granddaughters, Latonia Blakeslee and Allison Barnhart; great grandchildren, Austin Davis and Kaitlyn England; numerous special nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2007 at Lewis Chapel with Bro. Eric Goble officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church, 207 West Union Street, Magnolia, AR 71753.
