Lois was the daughter of Capt. Eleazer Rosebrook and Hannah Haynes.
In 1813 she married Samuel Howe, son of Artemas Howe and Mary Bigelow. (Her sister, Mercy, was married to Samuel's cousin, Samuel Howe. They are all buried here together).
Their children were Ira H, Katherine, Adeline, Edward, William Edward, and Eliza C.
After Samuel's death in 1854 Lois moved to Jefferson, NH, living in her son William Edward's household until her death.
Lois was preceded in death by husband Samuel in 1854; son Edward in 1822; daughter Eliza in 1862; and daughter Katherine, wife of Amos Rosebrook, in 1866.
