Mortuary:
The funeral of William J. Lawlor of 27 Prescott Street, was largely attended this morning at 8:30 at the funeral home of John J. Ferry & Sons, 88 East Main Street and at 9 o'clock at St. Rose's Church where a high mass of requiem was celebrated by Rev. James J. O'Connor.
At the offertory "Pie Jesu" was sung by Owen Wrinn, at the recessional "Nearer My God to Thee" was played on the chimes by Mr. Wrinn.
Interment was in the family plot in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Hartford, where the final benediction was given by Rev. Joseph Healy of St. Joseph's Cathedral. Many beautiful floral offerings and spiritual bouquets were received expressing the sympathy of many friends.
The pall bearers were George Keeney, Joseph Keller, William Burns and George Berry.
