Mary A. Buckley, 92 of Parkersburg passed away June 9, 2012 at the Camden Clark Medical Center Memorial Campus after a brief illness, she was blessed with good health most of her long life.
She was born in 1919 in Gilmer Co. WV.
Mary was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother with a naturally strong work ethic, being widowed early in her life with three children to provide for she often worked long hours and sometimes more than one job to meet the needs of her family. She is greatly respected for her strength of character and will be missed by her family.
She is survived by two older sisters, Helen and Pauline and one younger sister, Annalee. She is also survived by one son, Richard Schultz and wife Wilma (Billie); One daughter, Jane Taylor and husband Michael; Her grandchildren, Greg Taylor (Kathy), Ryan Taylor (Emily), Cindy Cokeley (Jim), Jimmie Schultz, Amy Schultz, Lori Schultz, Leeandra Flinn, Charlie Wade, Donnie Wade and thirteen great grandchildren,
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Weldon Buckley; One son, Delbert (Sonny) Schultz, five brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:00pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg. Burial will be in the Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8pm.
